Created for the first Valmiera International Multimedia Festival, Helio Introspection invites visitors to use sound to create light. Every voice draws its own graphic trace — a way to see your inner voice and emotions.
01Sunlight as self-reflection
“Helio introspection”, in its philosophical sense, uses natural elements such as sunlight as a means of self-reflection and self-examination.
By turning sound into light, the installation lets visitors explore the complex relationship between sensory experience and how we interpret it — and how we perceive the world around us, including the interplay of light and sound.
